No matter where you look, nutrition and fitness misinformation is everywhere.  It's almost impossible to open your phone without being told how your habits, intentionally or otherwise, are harming your health. 

And that the basics you were taught in school, eat your five-a-day, move a little, eat balanced, just don't cut it any more. Apparently. And may actually be harmful to your health. 

I hear you. It's exhausting. And no wonder that disordered eating and body dysmorphia is on the rise. 

I've spent the last 6 years helping people like you and I can assure you you're not alone. And it's easier than it might seem to get back on track. ​​

Why BRIDGES?

I founded BRIDGES after realising that the fitness industry had a fundamental flaw: it treats people like variables in a lab, not humans in a high-pressure world. 

Most plans fail because they expect you to live like a robot. You are asked to choose between progress, or living life.

BRIDGES changes that. 

I work with you consultatively to help you navigate the space between what the research says, and how you actually live as an individual. 

Our work is about bridging the gap between scientific rigour, and the realities of a busy, social and often unpredictable life. 

I'm not here to just write you a program in a vacuum, send it over and then leave you for weeks without contact. We work together as partners working alongside each other week by week. Ensuring your approach is sustainable long term. My goal is to support you with the logic and the tools you need to take control of your own health, without the "all or nothing" mindset that leads to burnout. 

I'm ultimately just trying to work myself out of a job, by helping you repair your relationship with food and fitness. To help remove all the fear and shame created by social media, so you can enjoy food, enjoy activity and finally thrive. Never needing myself or another coach ever again.
