Client Success

Client SUCCESS is a fairly malleable thing. Because everyone comes to me with different goals.

Sure, it's often the mirror or the scale that pushes them towards wanting to start a program, but below that initial knee-jerk is a goal not necessarily tied to how they look but often to how they feel (mentally or physically), what they want to achieve, or some health concern.

So on the next few slides I want to introduce you to some clients who have met their goals, or are well on their way, without showing you a side by side transformation.

Because winning isn't always about how you look.

MATT came to me in 2022 and openly admitted to being a 'challenge'. He had previously lived a somewhat sedentary life due to driving a desk and often sitting in his car. He suddenly realised at 133kgs that he needed to make a change. He had a family history of diabetes and heart disease, some dodgy ankles, and suspected he wasn't far from type 2 himself.

Together we implemented small changes such as increasing steps, being aware of what we are eating and 3 days of resistance training. And over the course of only a few months helped him to drop to an astonishing 117 by early 2023.

"What really stood out to me was my feet no longer hurt when standing at gigs. That was amazing."

KAY had always wanted that 'toned' physique. Despite, according to BMI and other metrics, not even being close to overweight they were unhappy with their physique and wanted to lose a bit of body fat.

On their own they were struggling to lose weight on 1200 or less calories. Kay was an active person who worked out 5 days a week, but were unhappy that they were often gaining instead of losing.

After a period of education around how muscle is built to create that toned look, we increased their calories. Naturally this was met with some anxiety. But with appropriate coaching and support Kay jumped in and over time started to lose body fat and reveal that toned physique

As she said here: "I can't believe that I'm losing weight whilst eating this much!"

STU came to me at the back end of 2022 looking to improve their health and fitness. Like most people he works a sedentary job, has a wife, two kids and a generally busy home life. He also struggles with some mild health concerns from his early 20's and 30's lifestyle. And as such was concerned what that meant for the rest of their forties.

Through small habit building and a dedicated, flexible, program he has been increasing the weights he lifts, improved his daily step count and, in his own words recognised that "this is the fittest and healthiest I have felt in a long time..."

JEANNE was another person who just wanted to 'tone up'. And whilst most trainers clap back with 'toning doesn't exist', we gave her the time of day and discussed what that meant to her.

And then met Jeanne where she was. She wanted to feel more toned by building some muscle, creating a lifestyle of healthy activity and just wanted to feel happier in her skin. Through a dedicated nutrition and gym program that's exactly what we did for her.

SO HOW DO I GET SOME OF THAT?

The first step is always the most challenging.

We sit with our goals for years without actioning them. So the first step, taking action, compounds into the most challenging thing to achieve in the world.

So I'd recommend chasing a small win.

Go back to what I mentioned on day 1, check in with your goals, switch them to an identity-based goal, and look at a small, 1% win or improvement you can make.

Then repeat. Over and over.

If you get stuck, the alternative is to get in touch with me. And I can help you like I've helped many others.

And we can win together.
